Maintain Pool Compliance with our detailed Inspection Reports

At Pool Safety Barrier Inspections, we understand the inspection process can be stressful and difficult to navigate through.

Owners are required to ensure they have a compliant barrier in accordance with the Building Regulations 2018.  The aim is to restrict access to the pool/spa area by children under the age of 5 but the legal obligation on the Owner extends beyond our inspection and Certificate.

Our inspection process includes the following steps:

  • Our friendly and registered inspector will visit your site

  • A comprehensive assessment of the pool safety barrier will be carried out to locate any issues of concern. If we find any issues, we will discuss the same with you.

  • A detailed inspection report will be provided, and it will outline any issue that needs to be fixed.

  • If an additional inspection is required we will reattend at no further cost.

  • Certificates are provided within 24 hours.

Our reports are easy to follow and include specific advice, photos and images unique to your pool or spa. This report provides you with an ongoing reference to review the safety of your barrier over the 4 year cycle and beyond. This helps to ensure you are still meeting the minimum safety requirements at all times.

Whilst your ‘Certificate of Barrier Compliance’ is valid for 4 years the obligation to maintain this standard does rest with the Pool Owner and the Inspection Report is an excellent reference guide.
